Earning ESST

You'll start racking up ESST from day one. For every 30 hours you work, you'll earn 1 hour of ESST. It's that straightforward.

Eligibility

Once you’re scheduled for 80 hours in a calendar year, you're good to go. You can start using your ESST whenever you need it.

Using Your ESST

Need to use your ESST? No problem. Just let us know as soon as you know you'll need it. We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we're here to support you.

Remember, you can redeem ESST in 1-hour chunks. So whether you need an hour or a day, we've got your back.

Pay Rate

When you use your ESST, we've got you covered. You'll be paid either:

  • The rate of the shift you're missing, or

  • If you don't have a shift scheduled, we'll use the average of your pay rates over the past 12 months

Keeping Track

We know it's important to stay on top of things. That's why we'll always show your current ESST balance right on your paystub. Easy peasy.
